CAMP GUIDE.

Practical answers before you register.
Open a topic for the details.

01Choosing a campWho can attend, and how are players grouped?

Our listed camps welcome U6–U15 boys and girls at every playing level, from first-time players to elite athletes. Players are matched with others of similar age and ability so the activities, pace and competitive challenges fit their development.

Share your player’s experience and any concerns with the camp team before arrival. The overall age range describes eligibility across the camp; it does not mean every child trains in one mixed group.

02Choosing a campWhich camp is the best fit for my child?

Compete Week develops individual duels, possession and team competition. Foundations builds first touch, close control and confidence with the ball under pressure. Finishing connects clean ball striking with attacking combinations and decisions around goal.

Choose a learning focus that fits your player’s goals, then check the dates and daily hours. Open the “Camp focus & daily plan” on each card for its session progression. Each camp stands on its own; Finishing does not require attendance at Foundations.

03Choosing a campWhat is included in the camp tuition?

The listed three-day camps include coached sessions, game activities, two 1st Class jerseys to keep and a written player evaluation within two days of camp. The evaluation identifies something your player can continue practicing afterward.

The tuition shown on each card is per player for all three camp days. Review the registration total in Otto before payment. Store purchases are optional and separate from the included jerseys.

04RegistrationHow do I register and confirm my child’s place?
  1. Choose a camp and select Register.
  2. Review the camp name, dates, hours, venue, age range and tuition in the summary.
  3. Select Continue to registration to open the corresponding Otto registration in a new tab.
  4. Sign in or create a household account, complete the information requested by Otto and review the payment and terms before submitting.

Keep your registration confirmation and check the portal’s status after completing the process. Opening the summary or following the link does not reserve a place; registration and payment must be completed through Otto.

05RegistrationCan I book multiple camps or register siblings?

Yes. You can choose one, two or all three of the listed camps. Each camp is booked individually, and each child needs their own registration. Review the selected player and camp before completing each booking.

If friends or siblings would like to train together, tell the team before camp. Group placement considers age and playing ability, so a shared registration date does not automatically mean the same training group.

06RegistrationWhat should I check before completing a booking?

Confirm the actual camp dates, daily start and finish times, venue and your player’s eligibility. Compare the camp dates with your school calendar; the December programs are evening sessions and may fall outside your district’s school break.

Have the player and household information requested by Otto ready, and enter accurate contact and authorized-pickup details where requested. Discuss medical needs or accommodation questions with the camp team before booking so the available arrangements are clear.

07The camp experienceWho leads the camps and what is the coaching approach?

Our camp teams bring together former professional athletes and accredited high-level coaches. Local camp leads coordinate the program, while written session plans connect technical practice with decisions, teammates and game play.

Coaching accreditation, background checks and safeguarding training are required for our coaches. Staff trained in CPR and first aid are on site during camp.

MEET YOUR CAMP LEADS
08The camp experienceHow are supervision, arrival and pickup managed?

Our standard is one coach for every 15 players, with a second coach from the 16th player. Two adults remain on site, and pickup is limited to an adult on the roster.

Make sure the camp team knows who will collect your child and tell them about changes before pickup. Confirm the local arrival and departure arrangements before the first session, and allow time for check-in so your player can settle into the group.

09The camp experienceWhat if this is my child’s first camp?

Beginners are welcome. Tell the team about your player’s experience, confidence and anything that would help them feel comfortable on arrival. Coaches can use that information when arranging age and ability groups and introducing activities.

Let your child know that camp combines practice and games, and that trying something new is part of learning. If attending with a friend would help, discuss the request with the local team before the first day.

10Arrival & preparationWhere is camp, and where do we check in?

OPEN VENUE DIRECTIONS ↗

Families drop off and pick up rather than waiting in the lot.

11Arrival & preparationWhat should my child bring and wear?
  • Black shorts and black socks. Need a pair? Find them in the 1st Class store.
  • Water, a snack and their usual soccer gear.
  • Footwear suited to the playing surface and the local venue’s instructions.
  • Suitable clothing for the session time and weather.

Turf shoes or molded cleats, no metal spikes.

Only water on the turf; snacks are eaten off the turf, on the benches.

Check the local instructions before the first day if you are unsure about equipment or clothing. The team can help you prepare for the camp you have selected.

12Arrival & preparationHow should we discuss allergies, medication or support needs?

Contact the camp team before booking about allergies, medication arrangements, injuries, accessibility or any support your child may need. Explain the requirements clearly and confirm the support available before attendance.

Provide accurate emergency contact information through the registration process where requested. Before the first session, confirm the local emergency procedures and the best contact for any changes to your child’s needs.

13Changes & supportWhat happens if the weather affects camp?

Weather arrangements depend on the venue and conditions.

Indoors, so weather doesn't stop camp.

Under the published policy, unsafe conditions such as severe weather, extreme heat or an unsafe field can result in a prorated credit or makeup day. A session that starts late or runs short but still takes place is not credited. Check the full policy and local instructions before booking.

READ WEATHER & CANCELLATION TERMS ↗
14Changes & supportWhat if we need to cancel or change our plans?

Camp registrations are normally non-refundable. With at least 48 hours’ notice, the camp price becomes credit toward a future 1st Class camp. Credit lasts 12 months and can be transferred to a sibling in the same household, subject to availability and any difference in camp price.

Optional registration insurance costs $30 and provides a refund option under the policy’s conditions; its fee is non-refundable. Injury or illness exceptions and cancellations inside 48 hours are addressed in the full policy. If we cancel a camp, families can choose a full refund or credit, paid within 10 business days.

Contact the team promptly about a change, identifying the player and camp in your message. Read the full terms before making your booking.

READ THE FULL REFUND POLICY ↗
15Changes & supportWhat should I do after registering, or if I need help?

Retain your confirmation, check the camp details and review the local arrival instructions before the first day. If you cannot confirm your booking status, have a payment question or need to update arrangements, contact our team rather than starting another registration.

Include the camp name and dates in your inquiry so we can direct it to the right local team. For urgent changes to pickup or medical arrangements, confirm how to reach the local team before camp begins.
